I found a transcription of a marriage (1742) I was looking for on FMP. So I went to the Swanscombe parish register to find the original. I obviously thought at the time that I had found it, now I'm not so sure. Ageing eyes and all that. Any offers of what it might read?

I clearly see the obvious words ("and"; "both of this parish")
I think I see "Thomas"; "Elizabeth"; "Chapman" - but is that because I know what's hoped for?

Sorry @Sis - I, too, have ageing eyes! But this is a doozey for any age, methinks
