Hi Guys and Girls, I have just found this great Forum and have been reading all the Military Questions and Answers. So here goes.... My name is Dave and I live in Belfast Northern Ireland, I originally came from Essex / East London, I have been following the branches of my tree for about 10 years (with gaps were I have had a break) I have always been interested in the military and have found many in my tree have been in the forces, both Army and Navy...I won't bore you with details yet, but be warned....lol.

They are a very friendly bunch here and everyone helps each other where they can, so post away! :D

No-one here will be bored with any aspects of anyone's family history, you are with like-minded souls;)
I have enjoyed reading your posts so far, and hope in time we can help you fill in any of your 'gaps'.
 
Welcome aboard Dave, as our surpreme leader (and one brave lady trying to keep us lot in check:D:D) @Daft Bat has said above, we are a friendly bunch, up for a challenge and a laugh. Be warned we do tend, occasionally;) to go off piste but we have to keep the mods on their toes:D
