Newbie to forums

Hi all, looking forward with your assistance to discover more info about my family history. I am researching my links in Lancashire and wrexham in Wales. Am organisng a trip to UK late in the year and hoping to be able to go to places my family lived in etc.

You say you are planning a trip late in the year. From memory, there is a Family History Fair at Worcester Rugby Club, early August. [I've got a 'reminder' set].

Jan. Mine is coffee, non-white;), no sugar.

Forgot to ask. Are you aware of Lancs OPC [Google it]. Volunteer transcribers making records online as and when they become available.

Thanks Ken, have had a look and located a few burial records which will assist when I visit. The visit will be late in November wont be able to make the fair.

If you Google "online parish clerks" it will bring up quite a few, also if you go to the Essex County board on G S you will find a link to the Essex OPC.

Useful links on the other County boards on GS.
