Hi Anne and welcome to Top Dog C|:-)
We're a friendly lot so you'll soon feel at home - have a good look around and just remember to enjoy yourself while you're here. Genealogy can be fun as well as frustrating :)

Welcome Anne, even if you do not post regularly you will find lots of interesting posts to read on here, and if you need any help just ask:)

From Ann without an e to Anne with an e.......you may not think you are a great poster, but I promise you, on here it gets addictive ;)

Welcome
Ann

Hello Anne - welcome to Top Dog :)

This is just the place for a good read and, if you wish to make a comment along the way, then that is good as well. Settle back, make yourself comfy and peruse at leisure.

Hello Anne and welcome to the forum. C|:-)
As long as you are here, that's the main thing.
Enjoy yourself.

Hello Anne C|:-)

Good to see you here. I understand not everyone is like me and addicted to family history and not everyone has free time to spend helping others, all are welcome at Top Dog, and as Mutters said - you are here and that's the main thing :) I hope you enjoy your visits, and do remember if you have any queries regarding your FH we are here, able and willing ;)

Nice to see you here Anne, I don't think there are 'post or else' rules here. All very relaxed, tho' dedicated to the cause.

Hi Anne,

Lovely to meet you and a very warm welcome to Top Dog. You'll love it here - everyone else does and we're all extremely friendly.

Welcome to Top Dog Anne.

It doesn't matter whether you are a prolific poster. Everyone helps where they can.

Greetings Anne.

No minimum posts or else rules here I can assure you. Just post when and if you feel the need.

Thanks for all your welcoming messages. I have been researching for so many years that I cannot say how long now!

Anne with an E! - I was called after my Devonshire grandmother who always insisted that she too was Anne with an E, but when she died and the family had to register death etc, her birth cert said Ann without an E!

I also didn't get an 'E' in my second name, I think my Mum thought it excessive, how presumptive of me, How would I know what she thought of a simple name? slap fingers! I always thought an 'E' added a little touch of light, but was always over imaginative. No-one ever knows about my Ann unless I tell them, so what's my fuss?
