Does that mean I should be scared of the Groucho Marx effect? Too late, I can't refuse now ;)

I see some familiar names in the members list so I'd better behave. Always a first time I suppose :)

I started researching about 1995 but haven't been able to do all that much in the last 10 years because of being tied up with other things. I have put some research results on my web site though - the URL is in my profile (which, if I've read the rules properly, is the place it should be I think :)).

The web site also contains some transcripts of trade directories &c for The Ancient Parish of Glossop, which some may find interesting (I hope :)).

As you've no doubt noticed insanity runs rife here, but also does friendliness and the willingness to help where possible.

Dunno about insanity, Phillippa, but there are those amongst us who will confirm that I'm very good at "Daft" and have a first class degree in "Gormless" :D
