Please can anyone read this for me

Thank you for searching, I do have most of Elizabeth's life except for proof of her parents, the Old Bailey online is very good but I do wish it had more family details :( guess I want it all on a plate!
It will come one day took me ten years to find hubbies great grandparents!
 
Must check her age when she was convicted because when she died in 1885 it states she was 48 years old. That would make her birth year app.1837. She married Dyer in 1854 at age 29 making her birth year 1825. Is she was born in 1837 then she was a mother of 4 at age 13 when transported>>>>>>>Do you have the correct death?
She was 27 when transported.

Checked the death of Elizabeth Dyer 1885 age 48. She was a widow and a school teacher. I also cannot find another and Edward Dyers death eludes me too.
Edit to add...There are only four children on Tasmania Lincs Archive Portal to Edward and Elizabeth:

Had a look for convicts-Elizabeth Mahoney/Mahony and surprisingly there aren't that many in the time frame i.e. between 1823 and 1850. The closest is one Elizabeth Mahoney tried at Middlesex Gaol Delivery 1833 and arrived in 1834 on the Huma to NSW. She was living as a char woman for William Stewart for 7 years prior to her conviction. So not the mother of Elizabeth Mahoney/Webb. The only other is one in Tasmania but transported from Cork. Native place Cork. She states she was both single and married and arrived 1848 husband name Jeremiah.

The one in Queensland apparently took its name from a sugar plantation, and the earliest date I've found for it is 1871, so it's unlikely to be the one referred to here. See this page:

This refers back to Ormeau in Belfast: there's Ormeau Park, Ormeau Road and Ormeau Bridge. The road was originally called something else, but the park appears to have had that name from 1807, and the bridge from 1815. More in these articles:

Even so, I'm not totally convinced that the first letter is "O" (looks more like "A" to me). In any case, where the mother was in 1851 doesn't necessarily mean she came from there or that Elizabeth herself had any connections with the place.

isn't this archive great they are the right children in Tasmania there was also a son Edward born before marriage but name down as Dywer!.
Elizabeth did die in 1871 and hubbie married again then to a Bridget McCann.
Edward had a rather nasty death buried under 2 tons of earth at the brickworks where he was working.
Elizabeths birth is always down as 1823 but it means she was only 15/16 when married in 1838 the certificate says full age but as I have said she is a bit of a fibber:rolleyes:

Thanks for that Arthur. I just had a look too and was named after Ormeau House, from about 1860, the estate of a sugar planter who's first wife was born at Ormeau Road Belfast. So yes, much too late to be associated in any way.
 
Her native place does say Deptford though. So I would be looking around there. Cain would be easier to look for than Ellen or Elizabeth but there are quite a few of them.
I have come across some enquiries on message boards that say that Elizabeth's parents were Catherine and John Mahoney (I keep referring to the mother as Elizabeth-sorry).

Cain as far as I am aware was born in c1818 so would only be 23 in 1841
his marriage cert is on ancestry at least like you I think he is right one married Kitty Dudley in 1841 looks like May23rd and living in ?? Deptford
I think writing in those days was meant to confuse:confused:
