Register of patents

Is there any sites that would be FREE to view that have a register of patent applications?

I have one for a A. W. Brightmore, Burford House, Knighton. Improvements connected with obtaining motive power. Application No. 7390.

Apart from this TNA guide, I cannot help.

However, according to the Transactions of the Liverpool Engineering Society, there is mention of the Masonry Dam Problem, for which Mr Brightmore came up with an answer....
