I try to look at Rootschat most days but the last couple of times I tried to do so a page came up saying that it was checking that I was human (last time I looked etc......) then when I clicked the appropriate box it thought about it for a short time then disconnected me. Does anyone else use this site and if so are you experiencing problems?
 
Not so far, been busy but I have notiiced a few more of regularly used sites are checking - I guess for bogies or scammeers. ;)
 
I have noticed that when I use a VPN I have all sorts of problems logging into different websites. For some reason the site keeps asking me if I am a human and quite often it does not believe me. When I switch the VPN off I have no problems at all. Meow, oops
 
I've just tried on my computer and it just came up eventually with 'connection timed out error code 522'.
 
Since Friday i have had error 520 then 522 then Sunday evening the site opened but showed almost zero posts in those few days,but back to errors Monday morning.My techie says i will just have to wait for Rootschat to realise there is a problem.
 
Same here for several days.
Checking I am human, then a message "Verification successful. Waiting for www.rootschat.com to respond" then the 522 error.
No way of contacting the admins because the address can't be accessed in the circumstances so just a matter of waiting.

I have noticed delays with the same checking on other sites but they have connected after a short while.
The problem is that so many people employed to maintain web sites these days are only script kiddies. They "know" how to use the tools when all goes OK but don't know what to do when things go wrong, even if they realise that what they have done doesn't work.
