Hello everyone. I'm looking forward to learning a lot from you all. I've been researching for a while now but have two stumbling blocks, 1) Edward Homer, sea captain, born Dublin Ireland 1840 and 2) Thomas Castle, sea captain ( I have seafarers coming out of my ears in my genealogy!) born Hythe, Kent 1810. Whereabouts should I post my successes and failures with these two? Any (legal) suggestions gratefully received. Thank you. Sally

Perhaps post your questions about Edward Homer in the Dublin sub-forum and for Thomas Castle use Kent. If it transpires that they would be better suited to a different sub-forum, they can be easily moved by Admin or a Moderator.
