Sarah who?

I have sat on the fence with this one, noted all that is in this thread but not committed to SarahBezelem as being Robert Reeder's wife.

As an aside, Roberts parents both outlived him
When his father Thomas (the mercer) died in 1708 he left everything to his wife Alice.
Alice died in 1715, and having just about read her will it seems that she left the bulk of the estate to Robert and Sarah's son Thomas - he got the house, the land, the orchard and the chickens etc
His younger brother Robert (my direct line) got a fiver!:D
Not so surprising then that Robert, who produced 13 children from 2 marriages, had nothing, and several generation later an almost 16 year old Hannah married my great grandfather in Bethnal Green. After producing at least 7 children she died before her 39th birthday:(

Friar?
Etymology
The English term friar is derived from the Norman French word frere (brother), from the Latin frater (brother), which was widely used in the Latin New Testament to refer to members of the Christian community.

A friar is a member of one of the mendicant orders in the Catholic Church. There are also friars outside of the Catholic Church, such as within the Evangelical-Lutheran Churches and Anglican Communion.
