Scotland's "Kirk Sessions"

Our very own Cornish Maid
I've been advised that paternity claims would have been recorded in "the Kirk Sessions".
Does anyone know how I can access these? (Probably Roxburghshire, circa 1790-1830)

Familysearch seems to have some, but not sure if for your area.
Scotland Church Records and Kirk Session Records, 1658-1919

Scotlands People say:
"We are in the final stages of development of a gazetteer-based search system for the site that will allow access to thousands of volumes of kirk session and other court records."

Or there's National Records of Scotland

Code:

Scottish Indexes dot com has paternity records and all sorts of interesting things. That’s where I found my Anne Bowness suing her father William for support for her 4 children. In the process of deciding whether or not to get them. National Records of Scotland wrote me and explained why she sued him (husband died) but they are rather pricey.

PS...these are in the Sheriffs court I believe. Just on phone so hard to check them. Later
