Can someone advise how I can add a signature to my profile to save me having to type it every time?

So did I.I thought he was asking about the field at the bottom, where you have got Jan
Thanks Wendy. Yes, I was asking about the signature box at the bottom where Wendy has "Wendy" and "Forget them not as they live again through us"Malcolm, in meantime you could save your sig. to a notepad or similar & copy/paste to your posts as they are now.
Hi Malcolm.
Expanding on the response from Jan at Post number 2 we make an adjustment to the members profile to allow the signature option.
Same place I think Philippa.OK, Doug, where was it before? Please?
Thanks Wendy. Yes, I was asking about the signature box at the bottom where Wendy has "Wendy" and "Forget them not as they live again through us"
There is no way in profiles (well, in my profile anyway) to add a custom signature to the bottom of my posts. How have others done it?

Hi Philippa,Malcolm, if you "click" on your own name (in this topic, for example) it will bring up a box with all the different "areas" concerning you. On the left hand side there's a link "signature". That's where I added mine. It allows you to use one of several fonts and colours and also bold, italic etc. Hope this helps?
Thanks for the explanation Doug. Much appreciated. I thought I just couldn't find the link. No problem with the status quo.Same place I think Philippa.
The ability to have a signature was awarded to all those who were members before we went "live" as a reward for putting up with all the mucking around when we were testing the forum. We alerted a number of people to the fact we were setting Top Dog up and asked if they were interested in becoming members. Having these members making posts assisted greatly in bedding down the forum.
As far as I recall no members since that time have had their profiles updated to allow a signature to be posted. As Jan said, we will have a review early in the new year.
