Signatures

Hi Malcolm.

Expanding on the response from Jan at Post number 2 we make an adjustment to the members profile to allow the signature option.
New signature attached as per Wendy's advice in post #6

Many thanks

To all those who made this history we have a duty not to forget

oiy, I think you read too much into my post Malcolm, see Jan # 2 & Doug above. Intended was what you already did to save typing it each time.
You'll get me kicked out!

We wouldn't want that now would we :(. I was a little over-exuberant and my experiment won't be repeated. It doesn't work anyway as the formatting doesn't copy over -- I had to edit my post to create that coloured signature.

I do apologise to everyone for even starting this thread. I realise now I should have dealt with it in private correspondence :oops:

Many apologies,

Like me!
I need a signature because I'm too lazy to type anything but my name ... and I'm grateful that my name only contains 4 letters! :p

Forgiven from here Malcolm, I didn't want you in strife with the management either. ( now you've had a little practise shot to see what your probable siggie will look like). o_O

Nether Regions.

I'd prefer that mine were embellished.

If you mean what I think you mean it appears you don't have Hotmail, if you did you should be receiving junk mail which offers to do just that! I receive them and I'm quite offended, I hope it's not just me being singled out. :D

Not just you Findem,
I don't have hotmail but also used to receive these kind & thoughtful offers. Have so far managed without this unnecessary expenditure. ;)

Phew, glad to hear that, I was beginning to get paranoid about using Public Toilets in case someone had been peeking. :D

I don't know where you get them Phillippa but they are great.

One of the benefits of being slack and idle when it comes to those other so-called "important" things in life. Have (made) lots of time to play around to see what I can find.

Glad you enjoy them - I have a ball searching and when I find something that seems to fit it's almost like a "woo hoo" moment in genealogy!!!

:p

"woo hoo" moment in genealogy!!!

Thinking of those moments reminds me of a trip to the UK and the Essex Records Office. Sitting quietly at a Fiche reader I came across an ancestor I'd been looking for over the years, forgetting where I was, I let out a loud YES, fortunately all I received from staff and researchers were smiles and congrats but I felt like such a fool, mind you a very happy fool. :)
