Many years ago so a faded memory, I saw similar headgear being worn by the female members of a musical group dressed up in "traditional" clothing in Eastern Türkiye but with feathers on the top not ribbons

Looking at them. I dont' think they are Tam O'Shanter hats at all. They dont look they are from Europe. I agree with Gertrude but can't make out the second name.

I don’t think we are there yet…but I too think the family might have a military connection…but not sure why two children have the hats and not others.

Any chance there is some writing on the back of the others?
Not a lot - just the odd name that is very faded and just has the odd letter showing.
