I've been researching my tree nearly 20 years now (I must have started really young, right!), and have research in Tasmania, Yorkshire, Cambridgeshire, the Netherlands, to name a few.

My Dad was born in Yorkshire, so I have quite a lot on his side. Calverley, Pudsey, Otley, Baildon, Sheffield, and a bit in Bentley. On my Mum's side I have one line in Swanland but I don't know much about them.

I have 3 ancestors who "earned" a free trip to Australia - 2 were sent to NSW and one directly to Tasmania, but they all ended up in Tasmania.
