The View from your Home

I've managed to find a picture of the arrows you need to change the size of your window.

The right to left one will decide on the width of your window and whether you see the side bar or not. ;)

I use a Smart phone (android) and there are no smilies or sidebar. However, on the phone if I tap on the words Genealogy Specialists ( to the left of the tree and dog) it takes me to the home screen. Scroll right down to the bottom of the screen and there is an option for Sidebar. Tap on that. I am GUESSING it would be the same on the Ipad.
 
I'm ok with how mine shows but I've never had a thin blue line. The page has always filled the whole of the screen.

Same here, Chimp. That is probably because we have it set at restored up rather than restored down. Restored.JPG Click on the symbol in the middle and you will see what I mean - top right-hand corner of your screen.
 
That'll be it Jan. Just tried it and you get the little blue line. I've always worked with fully restored. That outside bit would be to distracting for me.

Thanks Doug I can and do access the sidebar at the bottom of the screen. In fact it's the first thing I do when I check in. I had assumed there was an option to keep it open on the iPad. Never mind, I love the site and the ease of navigation.
 
2nd one for me..........I've started with it and its comfortable now like an old friend{-(^^)-}

Only just seen this, thanks Doug. I use ipad for Top Dog when I have no other option as I've found the ipad frustrating, may be now I've found the sidebar ipad will hold more appeal.
 
I've always had the second view i.e. the one with the side bar on the right and prefer it that way.

This is similar to the Blackberry :)
 
I don't have a smart phone and my granddaughter has appropriated my iPad. That leaves me with my iMac, so everything is just fine.
