Well, I've found you all at last - was it something I said? No sooner did I join BG than you all left ... if I have the same effect on here, I shall have to start having 2 baths per year!!

Nice to see you all. Good to read the easy-going banter.

I'm currently trawling through (and filing) WO 363, looking for mis-filed members of the family. Don't believe the "most of the records were destroyed in WW2" line - paper is very difficult to burn when it's packed in tight wadges.

Good you've found us, Jane. Seems to me that friends, from no matter where, will eventually find each other and happily the place they come to seems to be TD. It's by far the friendliest forum I've found yet and we seem to fit together really well.

Back in the fold - good to see you. Two baths a year - steady on, there might be a water shortage:D.

My lot are all Cornish, St. Agnes/Truro mostly - still trying to find a smuggler ancestor though, don't feel I can fully call myself Cornish without one of those;)

Hi Jane...Welcome. No Cornish ancestors for me ( that I know of) but I have heard great things about Cornish Pastries ;)
As for that 2nd bath...the cold weather is coming..you will need insulation for the winter. Spring will be here before you know it. :D
