Here's where things get messy.
In steps Francis Clough Dudley born 1895, he was a wrong'un. He had married Florence McDonald in 1915 in Everton, Lancashire.
They had 2 children, Francis 1916 and Florence 1918
In 1909 he had been placed in a reformatory
1913 he was sent to Borstal
He was a scrap metal dealer.
He left his wife and was taken to court for lack of maintenance.
On the birth certificate for Beatrice Dudley, born 2nd July 1920 her parents are given as Francis Clough Dudley and Beatrice Parkinson, they are not married.
1921 up in court again but found not guilty due to lack of evidence.
On 18th October 1930 Beatrice Parkinson (1899) Shop Assistant, sets sail for New York onboard the Adriatic. Only her, no sign of any other family members. The last address for her in England is the same as the 1921 census 4, Aberdeen Street, Birkenhead.
Then I lose sight of her altogether.
Anyone?
