Not sure as the second letter does not look like an 'l' but more like an 'r'.

The first letter is not too like an 'S' either.

Could it possibly be Grate Maker?

Problem solved I believe. Coincidentally the same registrar wrote the entry for his grand daughter - her dad is a Carter, so it is a fancy C. So Crate Maker it is
