This is 1698. The last word is in the parish of ?? possibly in Dorset? The groom came from Grimston in Stratton. Has anyone any ideas?

It looks like Catstock. Dorset isn't my area, but from a list of parishes I'd say this is quite likely Cattistock:

If I recall correctly, Catistock is a very small village indeed (possibly famed only nowadays as the location of the Dorset police training centre). It's only about 45 minutes away if you need someone "one the ground" nearby ?
