Would like this one deciphered please

Findem

The Fearless One. Rest in Peace.
The entry is on the first page third from last in the 1600s batch

I can only determine definitely the words Nicolas, married Browne.

Ancestry's EPRI shows it as Nicolas (no surname) & Col?? Browne married 17 Aug 1600 at Kelvedon.

Noting the EPRI found it a mess I was hoping that it would be a Nicholas Flacke marrying a Joane, obviously it isn't. :(

I was looking yet again for the marriage of a Nicholas Flacke to a Joane who baptised their first child, Thomas Flacke, 2 Nov 1600 at Lindsell Essex and this popped up, I hadn't come across it before.

Thanks Sue, Collit is how I saw the bride's first name, not a name I'm familiar with though, like you I found the Groom's surname a mystery.

Fortunately as the guy is not a Flacke he is not mine.

Just lately I'm having problems with tired eyes, so I think the glasses I use for computer work may be past their 'use by date', I was able to read some or most of the difficult entry contents but it seems a lot more difficult lately.
