No Show on 1939 register

Getting back to Samuel George Axam. Seems he has a brother Arthur born and died in 1900. Perhaps he felt the need to keep him alive through him, his big brother.:(
And it seems Samuel George Axam 1880 died as Arthur S Axam in 1941 age 61. Is that correct?
I thought something on those lines at the beginning, but then thought, was he using a familiar name for other reasons?? Why get married as Samuel G, use Arthur on 1911 Census, Samuel G on 1921 Census, but be trading as Arthur in 1928 when the fire happened at the Census address, then appears on 1939 Reg apparently living with son William in Greenwich, then dies as Arthur S in 1941? added to this is the unresolved marriage of a Samuel G to Clara Gerrans in Sep 1914 and recorded as such on 1921 Census & 1939 Reg. to me it looks possible he had dual identities :sceptical:
or we have 2 different people but, that seems unlikely.

Or am I completely up a Gumtree o_O

Bear with me @Smokey.
Samuel Axam 1, was born in 1808. He married Frances Kimber.
Samuel Axam 2, son of the above was born in 1847 and married Clara Jane Rhodes in Bethnal Green in 1880. Found on Freebmd.
Samuel George Axam 3, son of Samuel and Clara Rhodes born 1880 and not baptised until 1889 married Clara Elizabeth Gerrans in Islington in 1914. Freebmd.
Now things get a bit messy because Samuel George and Clara Gerrans now have a son in 1911 named Samuel George age 2. But Samuel and Clara Gerrans didn’t marry until 1914. So Samuel the 4th, their son was born 5 years before their marriage and I can’t find a birth that fits for him either under Axam or Gerrans. Ah ha! Found him under AXOM 1909 registered Holborn.

We only have drop bears up gum trees :D

Looking at all this again, I think the Samuel George Axam who married Matilda King in 1900, is unrelated to the Samuels that married the Clara’s. I think this is two seperate families. Possibly related but not directly :headbang:

I have created an Axam tree & I think I'll create a No.2 to compare & make sense of the connections :)

Is this them in 1841?
Susannah King, age 0, father GEORGE mother Susannah. Residence Henry Street OR Devonshire Place Woowich.
James 10, William 8, Charles 6, Joseph 4.
Assuming this is the correct family for Susannah Amelia, then we can eliminate her from being our Amelia Seal/King
She married James William Bampton in Plumstead, October 1866 and is in Plumstead, with husband and children in 1871
Another to cross off of the list.
