Well he's in the company of "Pavers" so maybe but I think it actually says 'Broker'
According to the Index of Old Occupations, a Broker = a salesman or middleman to a supplier for arranging sales.I think "Broker" is just a middleman or agent, but I don't know how or if the meaning has changed much over time
People's actual trades/professions weren't necessarily anything to do with the livery company to which they belonged, particularly by the 19th century.
