A True Gentleman. Rest in Peace.
Lily V Pelham, born 1906, of 3 Date Street, Southwark. Well I've got as far as 'Food' but what comes after that? Any help appreciated.

Well I get 'Food Contractor's' the first letter of the next word I see as 'L' it's the same as in her name

Maybe Labaler = labeller

Probably totally wrong.

I agree with Food Contractor's L....... but I really can't make out what comes after the 'L' :(

My first thought was labourer, but not a term usually used for women.
I am not convinced about Contractor's either.
I came up with Food Container Tin's Labeler

I am swinging towards 'labeller' on this one. Labelling tins/packaging is also something I would see a female doing.

I can't see the whole image so can't read what comes before.

Here it is BH

Sorry, MM, only just back in the room.

Trying to get away from 'Custard Jars Labeller'. Once in the head, it's very difficult to think otherwise. :D

Any long-established companies in that area, I wonder, that could give us a further clue? I've tried a couple of links but they can't be found, which is always the way.
