A Bonza Little Digger!
Is there anyone familiar with the 'Elstree' district who can help me sort out an address please?
Electoral rolls for that time are awkward as two Woman named Sarah Stone are on same page one in Edgware & one in Elstree.
I can't make out the name with the street address but think it must be almost up to High St.
looks rather like Rosary.
I've just found my Gt, Grand Aunt whom I thought had died soon after a marriage in middle years. Probably was the Husband who died. I've also found her now on 1911 census in High st. Elstree.
RG13; Piece: 1211; Folio: 10; Page: 12
1901 Edgeware Sarah E.STONE -Boarding house keeper
Sarah Es Tone (sic) c.1841 Southwark, London, Head -Edgware, Middlesex
Ellen Phillips c.1855, Southwark, London, Sister, caretaker-Edgware, Middlesex
+6 others [boarders]

I'm hoping this all will settle Sarah in my fils & may help me to find her demise.
thanks for reading.
