Do you think I have the right man?

I have found the probate for W.E.T. Goodwin.

"William Ephraim Tudor Goodwin of 14 Church Street, Knighton, Radnorshire, a private in the 10th Liverpool regiment, died on 22nd February 1917 at the Military Hospital, Oswestry, Shropshire."

On the CWGC site it says

"Regiment/Service: The King's (Liverpool Regiment) 13th Bn."

Which one?

Could someone take a look on Ancestry in their:-
UK, Army Registers of Soldiers' Effects, 1901-1929

Using the name: William Ephraim Tudor Goodwin

Please

Thank you very much MollyMay. I now have a cause of death.

Pneumonia back in 1917 was likely caused by the Spanish Flu epidemic. It must have hit them hard and quick. Apparently he only joined the colours 3 weeks before.

Amazing how little there is to find on you man Chimp.
may I digress for a minute?
while looking for your William Ephraim Tudor Goodwin, I spotted this. Can it be that I'm not the only one to hit the 'funny button ' when typing out info?
[via Ancestry]:
Name:
J William Godwin
Spouse: Emmaeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Nicholls
Birth: abt 1880 - Wootten Warden, Warwickshire, England

Andrew Auld Clark (Ships master) married Barbara Campbell on 22nd August 1870 in Greenoch, Scotland.

One of their children, Jane Kerr Clark, was born on 4th April 1880 also in Greenoch.

I assume that Barbara must have died, because Andrew married Agnes McCullum in Birkenhead, Cheshire in 1883

Update:- Barbara, Wife of Andrew Auld Clark died on 20th November 1880.

In 1891 RG12, Piece 2887, Folio 68, Page 5 - Jane and her step mother (Agnes) can be found in the McCallum household (Agnes' parents) Andrew is not there. (actually can't find Andrew in either the 1901 or 1911 censuses)

As I have said, I found a burial in Knighton for Agnes Clark:-

AGNES wife of ANDREW AULD CLARK of Wallasey Died August 4th 1930 aged 79 years. (headstone)

Also in the same grave is ELLEN GOODWIN of Leominster died July 22nd 1928 Aged 83. (headstone)

Andrew Auld Clark died on 2nd February 1934 in Knighton. His address was 26, High Street. He was buried on 6th February in Knighton aged 86. There is no headstone for Andrew.

Therefore, Agnes, Jane's step mother and Ellen WETG's adoptive mother are buried in the same grave.

Anc has a comprehensive tree and has her as Barbara Ritchie Campbell (b1849c)
Died 20/11/1880 of Phthisis Pulmonalis (TB),
So answers your question

Edit:- there is a picture of Andrew too

Thank you MollyMay. I only had Ancestry for a few months (£5 special) no longer able to see the records.

Thank you again :)

Our post used to arrive at 7am, since they reshuffled and moved the sorting office out of town, it's now about 3pm.

Thank you again MM. They seem to have the wrong year of death for Agnes. I see they don't have a year of death for Jane Kerr either.
