James Andrewartha age 20 same as above (Nile 1855)
Mary M Andrewartha age 23 same as above (Nile 1855)
*Mary Andrewartha age 20 same as above (Nile 1855) I guess this is her.
So whichever of the above they all arrived in 1855.

Can't find where James Andrewartha is though.

Just found the passenger list of the Nile on the Ships List. James ANDRAWARTHA 22 miner Redruth, Cornwall.
Mary Esther (Truscott) ANDRAWARTHA 23 Redruth Cornwall

Also on the ship, Charles Andrawartha 57 mine agent, Martha 48 and children.
1851 census Parish of Redruth, North Country Bassett Road is Charles Andrawartha, copper and mine agent, Martha, James 19, miner, John 16, Charles 13, William 11, Jane 8.

Death of a James Andrewartha, Victoria 1864 father John mother Mary Bonay

Not sure of this one - his parents were Charles and Martha nee Hammill who were married in Redruth 18 Feb. 1830.

Re post #25 - have you had any further thoughts on the death of James?
Have found a child of theirs - James - born 1862, married Lavinia Mitchell 1886 and died in Castlemaine 1939.

Mary married James Pascoe in 1864

That's why I like post #27 - looks like the entire family came in 1855.

What is even more sad is the fact that their youngest child - Martha [who was born shortly after their eldest also named Martha had died in 1850] - also died in The Murray on 18 Mar. 1855.

Walter Charles - 5 Oct. 1855 - The Murray, South Au.
Mary Ann - 1856 - Sandhurst, Vic.
