She must have been hiding from you

Thank you Sue for finding her birth, don't know how I missed it

And yes that is her on the 1901 Census, but the Ann Davies is not related to her although she does have an aunt Ann Davies the age and place of birth are nowhere near correct

There is also a marriage record on Family Search (New York City Marriage Records, 1829-1940) no image available, that gives the marriage of John Williams to Sarah Aldred. Johns parents are given as Evan Williams and Sarah Davies. This was on 19 Oct 1910. So assuming this is right, John had arrived in the US before 1910

As to the 1901. Could Catherine be the Catherine A Williams age 13 born 1888 Llangollen

Thank you Sue from this I have been able to find her sister Jane and brother John living in the same are in 1901 i have also found a possible death for brother Evan in the same are in 1901 registered before the census was taken
