I think I may have mentioned this many moons ago, but the British Library has a whole section on dialects, including this which gives illustrations of people from various parts of the UK talking in the dialect of their area.

Having been brought up in South West Essex, I believe that "art" needs some fine tuning. The "a" should be drawn out as "aa" or "ah" and the "t" cut short using the glottal stop. Another example of the cut short "t" is "The water in Gibraltar don't taste like what it oughter".With Cockneys the word out is pronounced art,.
