Dear Sleuths,
This is the BT of the burial of William Sherwin, son of Mr Sherwin ??????????? 6th June 1720.
Heaven knows what the rest says.

I see Prebendary as Residentiary. But I could be wrong. I have googled and there is such a thing as Canon Residentiary, but I'm on my phone so here's the link to the definition as it's rather long.

William the son of Mr. Sherwin, canon residentiary of this church, etc.

Second thoughts, I'm not sure it's 'Mr'. I think the father's name is 'Wm' also?

Nope, this is the Will for a William Sherwin whose wife was Catherine, it looks as though they were married in Chester in 1704. I have a William spelt variously Cherwin, Sharwin etc.who married a Dorothy Keyse in East Dean on 8 June 1703. She was baptised 1679 but I cannot find his baptism. Thanks for looking everyone.
