Ooo loving that, thanks so much.Having a google, there's a fair bit on William Sherwin, canon residentiary of Chicester cathedral, who died c.1735.
To quote someone who shall be nameless......bummocksNope, this is the Will for a William Sherwin whose wife was Catherine, it looks as though they were married in Chester in 1704. I have a William spelt variously Cherwin, Sharwin etc.who married a Dorothy Keyse in East Dean on 8 June 1703. She was baptised 1679 but I cannot find his baptism. Thanks for looking everyone.
