1870 adoptions?

    As I have been given to understand by booksellers, the British Library
    should hold a copy of all books printed, presumably since a certain date.
    I think this is less likely if it was a private print run, but if they do that
    would be better than Sheffield I think. Worth asking them?

    I have been checking and it suggests there are about six libraries in
    London where they should hold a copy, including Kensington.

    OK Burt. Well.... maybe I'll try the Inter-Library Loans Service again. They got me "The Victorian Clown" but I think "Victorian Arena" is more obscure.
