Frampton, Dorset - Parish registers

I agree Huchings for the first one but the second one has me beaten.
'heare' looks good, but the next word like you I see ??rs? and I am not sure the next word is with. I see ??th and have been trying to make a two word phrase with what we have - but so far have come up with nothing. Will keep on thinking about it.

I am still thinking and have come around to 'with' being the second word, I can see the 'w' & 'th' so there is not really anything else it could be.
Could the mystery word be a place name? The only word I can really make from it is - nurse (and I am pretty sure that the last letter is not an e).

I like that too - there are some lovely names in Dorset.

Have just looked at Ancestry and found a Francis Jones Barlicorne buried Nov. 1628 in Bridport - wonder if he was Edeth's husband?

what do you make of the surname? Soulis(?) and Souslis(?) ...

...

I had a brainwave yesterday, something had been bugging me about this surname ... and I know we found backup for the Soulis name BUT if that is a S it isn't like the other capital Ss

I think it is an L and so the name is Loulis or Louelis

I think the u is written for a v

I think the name is Lovlis or Lovelis i.e. Loveless ...

I think you've got it Muggy :) I've found (on Family Search) ref to the burial in Frampton of Annstis Lovelis, daughter of Thomas, on the 28th August 1659 - which would tie in with the 'Annstis Soulis' you found in the baptisms.

Deaths done between 1653 and 1666 :); but ... you know it .... questions and doubts :(, here's #1

What do you make of Thomas's surname?

Thanks :), Ancestry has Beeke, I guess it could be anything behind that smudge, and I haven't come across the name in another context so far ... I've gone with Bee?e o_O

I was thinking this says "William Bartlett at Jun" and might mean William Bartlett junior; but now I'm seeing Jom !?

and here is another surname that is defeating me ...

Thanks for looking :)

I really can't think (or see) what William Bartlett could be, other than Jun. - but why at Jun?

And I see Thzer (or Thzen) as well so that ain't much use to you :( (Although, as you know, there were Tyzers in Frampton, so it could be that despite not actually say that.......o_O)

Sorry
Ann

I would say Thyzen.

Could the word after at be a place name? - ?ern - not really that sure the first letter is J if you look at June in the clip below.

Sorry not much help.

Ohh, thanks for trying :) ... think I will go with Thzen ... still wavering over the placename ... at Cern would make perfect sense but it definitely doesn't say that ... so I will put 'at Jern (?)'

I should feel better for having made a decision, but somehow don't o_O ... I shall distract myself by moving on to the next problem
